"Magical Family" on voyage 294Wonder/June29th

Has anyone heard of the "magical family"? Well I can tell you we were the ones of voyage 294 on the Wonder! Out of 2700 guests we got picked. I didn't even know Disney Cruise line did this. Besides being Castaway Club members (3rd cruise)here are the things we got:

Conceirge Reception
Badges that said Magical Memories
chocolates and snacks in our stateroom each night
a certificate that states we were the "magical family" for voyage 294.
A signed photo from Mickey and the gang thanking us for being the Magical Family. and 2 Baloos for my kids.

Since we had 2 receptions( 1 conceirge and 1 CC), we were always so full before dinner, LOL. We got to see the crew twice.

Who knows maybe someone on these boards will be the next "Magical Family".

I had never heard of this before. How did you get picked?

How cool!! I never heard of that before, but it sounds like a really neat surprise! The only similar thing we've seen is that a family is picked to do the countdown before boarding starts, and then you are given a "Magical Moments" certificate.

And lets not forget the fanfare that the one millionth (sp) guest received onboard!!!! That family won a free cruise!!!

Congrats on being the MAGICAL FAMILY!!! That must have been so exciting!!!

I don't know how they pick the family. Maybe they go by a lottery type drawing using stateroom numbers. We even used our dvc pts for the cruise and still got picked. I am sure it was a once in a lifetime thing for us. We aren't that lucky. ;)
