Hi all. Does anyone know if you need to make a reservation for the Avis shuttle to the port after dropping off your rental car, or do you just get on the next available shuttle? How frequently do the shuttles run? We are on the 8/17 Magic and were planning to drop the car off at 9:00am Saturday and then go straight to the port. Do you think that's too early to arrive at port? Thanks for your help!

If you're dropping a car off at Avis you don't need to reserve the shuttle, they will take you to the port. And yes, 9:00 am is too early, they don't even start allowing drop-offs at the port until around 10:00 (unless it has changed recently), and the port is about 3 minutes from Avis.
The easiest thing to do is drop your bags at the port around 10:00 and then have one person drive the car to Avis to drop it off and catch the shuttle back. That saves you from having to drag all your bags with you on the Avis shuttle.
Enjoy! :D

Do you know if you have to make a reservation on the shuttle if your Picking-Up a car. We are picking-up an SUV at Avis-Radisson immediately after disembarkation. What time do they start running and where do we meet the shuttle?

You don't have to make reservations for the shuttle after disembarking. You can meet the shuttle in a designated area of the parking lot. The DCL personnel will direct you to the appropriate location just across the internal street from the pier (the main parking lot). I caught a shuttle to Avis/Radisson within 5 minutes of disembarking.
I would also recommend that you follow WebmasterMichelle's directions (but in reverse). Send your husband over on the shuttle to pick up the car and then drive it to the dock to pick up you and the luggage. That's the way we did it for our family of 4 and it didn't take more than 20 minutes from the point of disembarking to we drove on to Orlando. Of course, we had our own car parked at the Radisson, so you may have to add a few minutes for the rental paperwork.
