Anybody want to help with a store tour?

Has anybody been in the Muppet store at MGM recently? I'm curious what muppet stuff is for sale right now. We're considering trying to do our nursery in muppets, but figure that there won't be enough decor to make it work. Any help or reports would be appreciated!

I haven't been since July, but what I saw there then didn't really impress me. They had some shirts, some stuffed animals - not too many Muppet things at all. Most of the store was DHS merchandise.

I hope someone else can be of more help! But that's what I remember from my last trip. As a huge Muppet fan, I was disappointed.

They have Muppet shirts and stuffed animals. Then they have some Hollywood Studios stuff and general Disney Stuff.

All I can remember is a Beaker T-shirt I wanted, but never went back for!

I hope it's still there in June!

0Thanks for the info, guys. I'm disappointed in that store. It used to be so cool! It's hard to find good Muppet stuff anymore. I guess we'll end up going with something monkey themed (DH has a closet full of stuffed monkeys that could go on shelves with that theme).

I :love: :love: :love: the Muppets. If it would help, I will take some photos in the shop this week and share them with you. But as I recall in May, I was rather disappointed. There has been talk of a Muppet Whatsit Shop being installed. So there may be hope.

If it's not too inconvenient, pictures would be wonderful! I'm trying not to settle on bedding yet...until I can really evaluate the possibility of Muppets. DH would go nuts!

last time I was there I took a couple of pictures, but I was interested in the decor and not the inventory.

I am a facilitator when it comes to people achieving their dreams. I facilitated a friend's purchase of a new HUGE tent last year. Her husband called me an enabler. I much prefer facilitatior. LOL. Anyway, when my sister put together her nursery 19 years ago, she found the fabric and got the bedding custom made by a friend. You MIGHT be able to find Muppet print fabric online. And of course, Ebay is your friend.

I just visited the store and it's not that stuff they have.
But i took photos of everything and the prices.

if you want muppet info, contact Steve Swanson, he is the host of the Muppet Cast.

He knows pretty much anything in the muppets world, and im positive he'd be able to help you find enough Muppet stuff to make the theme work. Even if the store doesnt have enough, he may know where you can get other stuff. Ill PM you his E-Mail if you want.

Blumonkeyboy that would be awesome! Monkeys are our backup decor, but muppets would be so much fun! I think I have a muppet baby Miss Piggy at mom and dad's now that I think about it.

Well, I haven't been having much luck in my online searches. I found some plushes, but I'd rather just order those from Disney merchandising if that's what we end up with.
