? on eating at pizzeria, pluto's, etc?

Question: Do you have to pay additional if you get pizza from the pizzeria (probably spelling that word wrong), pluto's express or the little ice cream dive? Just curious........

No, all of the food items (including the ice cream) are free. Although I hope the quality of the pizza has improved over the past year.

I had the pizza in May and it was good.

It has DEFINITELY improved since my 2nd cruise in Nov. 2000 when I ordered vegetarian pizza from Room Service and it came with cooked frozen vegetables!!! Yep, peas, lima beans, carrots.... YUK!! It is much better now. :)

I had pizza on the July 6th cruise. I would describe as okay, maybe good pizza. But that's it.

BTW, why does Scoops close so early. Twice, our family wanted to get ice cream in the evening after dinner (9 - 10 PM) only to find it closed. What a disappointment! The ice cream at Scoops is great. I just wish their hours were longer.

Rellingtwin - too funny - Several times I had to remind my kids that "No, honey, the food is not really free."

My pet peeve, too, is that Scoops is not open later. The 8:00 closing is not right - way too early for a cruise ship. The very earliest it should close is 11:00 - preferrably midnight.

I'm just glad that we were fortunate enough to pay for this upcoming cruise well ahead of time - because regardless of what all you killjoy's say - ALL the food is free for us this year! LOL ;)

Our kids (DS 11, DD 9) LOVED the pizza. They also loved Scoops. Their strategy on deck? Go on the Mickey slide about 480 times, then eat tons of pizza. Go on the slide 325 more times, then eat 2 tons of ice cream. Repeat this process for 7 days. ;)

whenever we would order room service the pizza didn't look that great. But then up on deck it was pretty good.
