Hey wonderful DIS'ers,

We decided to pull a rabbit out of the hat and go to Univeral the week after Christmas.

A few questions...

1. If we are going to the parks Monday - Friday, we only have to stay on site Monday - Thursday nights to get the cut-the-line prividlege. Is that right?

2. Is it worth the extra money to stay onsite? Are the lines that long? I know it will be the week after Christmas.

3. Which is the nicest LaQuinta in the Orlando area?

4. Is it worth the money to buy an annual pass for discounts. The universal annual pass seems a little complicated with date restrictions.

Thanks for your advice

1. Yes that is right.

2. I would stay onsite this week. It will be busy.

3. Not sure.

4. The annual pass for discounts has no date restrictions. The cheaper passes with restrictions do not give you any discounts. You need to get the preferred or premium. Before you purchase, you need to check out what the hotel discounts are.

Thanks!

I was able to get a better rate not that I plan to get the Annual pass that cost 229, looks like I can save about $400.
