On site booking for March 03

I am trying to book our March vacation. I called that
1-800-B A STAR number. They had no rooms available for the dates I gave them (over a 2 week period for HRH ).


My question is this:

We never have traveled to Orlando this time of year before. Is this normal to be sold out this far in advance? I thought with all of my discounts that I can get that I would have no problem getting a discounted room, but this is ridiculous.:confused:

Do rooms (discounted) become available closer to the dates?

I don't have an answer but surely someone can help you on that. I would just guess and say maybe they have'nt released any rooms yet for your rates that far in advance and I would try calling back. Also, I might suggest calling the HRH directly and asking the resverations clerk there your questions. Surely there not sold out and if they are there would be some cancellations forthcoming. Any one else have a suggetion to help here?

Discounts, of any kind, have not been released yet (not in the sytem). Try again in about one month.

The problem is that HRH is already sold out for those dates, discount or not!

Call the hotel direct. Look under the Loews Hotel web site for the number. If the # you called was for the Universal Hotel booking and package deal, they get access to a limited # of rooms.
