Well, I am Catherine and I am 15, going to be 17 one day after the cruise. I am from good ole South Carolina:rotfl: I am a very spontaneous and random person! I love Classic Rock and good Oldies:thumbsup2. My Family and I have one cat named Tinkerbell. This'll be my 5th? Disney Cruise but 7th overall(cruised twice on Princess). Okay so now it's only 1 year, 2 months, and 6 days away. It's still far away, but it's gonna be SOO worth it.

It's nice to meet you :) I already said it at the beginning of the thread, but I'm Samantha, I'm 16, and I'll be 18 by cruise time. I'm so excited there's another teen going! And we're close to the same age, which is cool :)
So, it's your first cruise huh? It'll be my third. They're so fun! We're gonna have an awesome time.
I guess we should probably get to know each other a little bit, even though we have a whole year and couple months til we go XD. I guess I'll just start with something random. What kind of music do you like?

i pretty much love all kinds of music but my favorite is country! i got really into it last year and its pretty much all i listen to. haha.

As for me, I'm more into 80's and classic rock, but I know Catherine likes country :) One of my friends got 5th row tickets to see Lady Antebellum and then another went to see Tim McGraw. Just random information for you :p

Heyyy Natalie!! I'm Catherine. I'm 15, going to be turning 17 the day(or day after) we get off The Dream. I love all kinds of music I do listen to country my fav is Darius Rucker, but i mostly do listen to 80s and classic rock, like Sam. I'm going to, possibly, see Sister Hazel when they come near us. They're amazing if you've never heard of them, you need to. I'm also going to see Lynyrd Skynyrd and .38 Special when they come to Charlotte. I live in SC, close to Charlotte, NC, by the way. My favorite Disneyland ride is ToT in California Adventure. I think it's better than the one in WDW. and I know for a fact the Samantha's never been to Disneyland so she'll probably tell you her favorite ride from WDW.

So today is a really weird schedule at school. We have block scheduling so we have 4 classes right.. Well, our first and fourth periods are switched because of AP testing or something. Which is ridiculous, because I have a class at 6:50 am, so that means I have no fourth period. So I had to check out of school at 8:30.. and I have to go back at 10 for my second class, then third, then first. Is that not ridiculous?! Gah it's a pain. Because I'm just sitting at home, alone, while my parents are at work and my brother's at school, until I leave again -_- But I got me chik-fil-a and I'm drinkin' coffee so I guess it's not too bad.. but I just wanted to complain a little bit. Soooo today was the last day of school for me! and I never have to take chemistry again....I hope *fingers crossed* Super yay!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana: <-- yes, dancing bananas are needed. And it's been forever since we've talked to I want to fill ya'll in on what I've been up to. Went to Sammie's(yes, she loves that nickname. don't listen to her:rotfl: ) graduation and saw about a good portion of her class attempt to blow up at least 7 beach balls and one monkey throughout the ceremony. Stayed up until 4 AM doing God knows what because I don't even remember:lmao: All I remember talking about is Oreos...then we had her graduation party which consisted up grown ups talking while Sammie and I controlled the muzak selection:)) That night we found many, many uses of duct tape and I want to try them ALL. Sunday, I had to head back home:(( but had a progressive dinner with my gYg (youth group) :D then next weekend Hilton Head for Memorial Day. What did ya'll do? Anything super fun? Cuz I burned -_- Then went back to school for three days (seriously laaamee!) for exams and now it's Thursday and I'm bored so I am writing this message to entertain ya'll. Tonight my parents are going to a Sister Hazel concert, which I really really really wanna go to!!!!!!!!, and Burn Notice is premiering!! YES!:cheer2::banana::banana: Tomorrow my best friend and I are going to see Wicked:D woo I'm totally excited. The End.

SO what are ya'll doing for Summer?? Anything super fun? I'm going to Montreat (church camp) and bring my plastic pink flamingo named Jorge (yes. we're that cool:woohoo: I know you're jealous), going to the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert (featuring .38 Special and possibly Bret Michaels) :D, going to Honduras on a mission trip, going to WDW with Sam, and then in between those trips I am watching a seven year old named Kate.

Lately, I've just been babysitting a whole heck of a lot. But I got some moolah stashed away now, which is good! I started getting all my dorm room stuff together, so I'm getting reaaalllly excited about that. It's a whole bunch of stuff in the turquoise color family (since that's my favorite color). A lotta cute stuff. Anywho, I hope everybody's doing good! And just a few random comments:

So to give you an update on my life lately. I went to Montreat which is a small town right outside of Asheville, NC for a Youth Conference with my church,. I saw TS3 with my family for Father's Day and I cried, like I said above. Though everyone says that might have been the best I don't think so, cuz I will always love the first one because I mean HELLO it's the first one. But it's also said because when I was talking to Sam she mentioned that it's like part of her childhood is coming to a close because you get to see what happens to Andy and his toys. Well anyway after that I have been immersed in babysitting a 7 year old from church and our church's VBS. On Saturday June 26 I left for 10 days to go help build houses with my church in Honduras. I just got back this morning at 12AM and tomorrow I start back babysitting. This Sunday is my birthday:) yayness. then on the 16th travelling to WDW for a week of fun with Samantha. Then she is coming to my house the week after that. WOO!:) then school starts.:/

My 4th of July was pretty swell. Spent it at Disney World :) It rained a whole heck of a lot, like I think I never left my poncho. But the parks clear out as people run for cover, so you can walk on a lot of the outdoor rides like Jungle Cruise, Dumbo, etc :D And I got my picture taken with Lotso from TS3 :goodvibes He legit smelled like strawberries.

Anyway, in 9 days I have college orientation, and in 10 I'm going to Disney with Catherine! And then to Catherine's house for a week. Like she said. Super puuummppeddd! Which means I have a LOT of packing and shopping to do in these 9 days at home. So I should probably get on that. But!! We're finally less than a year from the cruise!! I would've posted on the 5th, but I wasn't home. So that's Sam's life for now. I think I'll go do something productive :p Talk to you guys later!

I'm starting my junior year as well but on Wednesday instead of Monday :/ I dunno if I would want to be homeschooled I'd miss, as much as it pains me to say it because I hate it, the drama. I know I had fun ringing in the New Year!! I don't know about ya'll:) rofl it was hilarious xD Anywho it's the weekend! Yay!!! Exams coming up this wednesday and thursday. Wish me luck! and Good Luck to all those also taking them soon. But a perk is the four day weekend I have next week:)), though it may get taken away because of the prediction of snow. Stupid. -_-

So i just found this thread and saw no one posted since like forever ago! haha and our cruise will be in like a week! I'm Bree, i'm 15 (going to be a sophomore) and I'm from Illinois! I'm love to talk and I like meeting new people. This will be my 3rd cruise but my first Disney cruise! I'm super excited about it too haha. Welll hopefully someone will respond I'd like to know someone before the cruise started! (:

Hey Sam, nice meeting you too! I'm really surprised we are the only ones on here. I don't know if you know about Cruise Critic but I looked on there too, there's a couple people our age but nothing really. But then again, on like 3 or 4 people responded... Hopefully we'll meet more people!

Hey Bre, I'm Catherine. I'm 16 right now turning 17 the day after the cruise. I live in South Carolina and it'll be my 5th Disney cruise, but 7th cruise overall. It's good to meet you and I'm super glad that there's one other person on here besides Me and Sam!

Nice to meet you Catherine! Has it been just you two the whole time? I wish I would have found this earlier, haha! But actually, my family just bought the cruise this year in March. Hopefully there's lots of other teens to meet on the ship! Only like a week left! :yay:

There have been others that have drifted in and out, but no one's really stayed...I just thought that the thread would be a good way to meet beforehand, it worked really well on our last cruise, but apparently not. There will definitely be a lot of teens on board they just don't use the boards.

I really like how separated everything is like you don't feel overrun but little kids or feel like you're being pressured to be with your parents all the time. Also, Disney's service is one of a kind. My family and I have had some few unique experiences where Disney has just jumped in and handled it perfectly which I don't think many cruiselines do the same.

Well this one's gonna be different from my past cruises because it's a new ship and all, but my first cruise in 2001 I hung out in the clubs alot and barely even saw my parents except for dinner. :rotfl2: That trend has seemed to continue even on our last cruise in 2009 when I met Sam. I think had ate dinner with my parents really fast and met up with same immediately afterwards, we ended up having the same rotation so it was basically me finding the loudest family in the restaurant ;), and hung out with kids my own age the whole time.

We're going to Disney beforehand anyway, so we're driving down, had we not gone to Dis we probably still would've driven so no airport for us.

How about near the Mickey and Donald pools like the food area? Like after the drill maybe? So we can make sure everyone is on board..? Or after the sailaway party, which ever.
