Another question for folks who have stayed at HH

Which would you stay in? A 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom. There will be 4 people, 2 adults, 2 boys, 11, 12. Pool view would be preferred and no smoking is a must. Our concern is the noise problem from Grand Villas that were mentioned in a previous post.

There are no 1BR's with a pool view, so if that is important to you, you'll want a 2BR. Most buildings have only 4 villas (2BR's). The vast majority of villas at HH are 2BR's. Except for those under a GV- the other 16 1BR's are at the Lodge- farthest from the pool.

The point difference is not unbareable between a 1BR and a 2BR at HHI. Since the 2BR would give each of the boys a separate bed and you would not have to make the sofa out each night, I would think that you might consider the 2BR.

We stayed in a 2 BR at HH last month. We have 2 boys, 3 and 7, and they loved their separate bedroom. If you want a pool view, that is really your only choice. Additionally, as your boys are older than mine, I think that they would prefer separate beds. That would also allow you to spend more time in the living room, should you so desire. HH is great. You will truly enjoy it.

I don't think you'd have the noise you might expect from a grand villa. During the slow season, they are usually the last to rent and the 2br may have more noise.....at least what we experienced. For a pool view, it has to be a 2br, just ask for the top floor and no one will be running over your head.
