What's the tax & resort fee at AKL?

Is it 6% tax and 10% some sort of resort tax making it a total of 16% you have to add on to your rate? I can't remember exactly.:confused:

The tax is 11%.

There is a 5% tax and a 6% for a total of 11% tax on the room rate. There is no resort fee at the AKL. So if you are quoted a rate of lets say $159 a night without tax it would be $159 * 1.11 = $176.49 a night tax included.

I think the tax is actually 12% for AKL and All Stars because they are actually in a different county. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.;)

We stayed at the AKL twice last year and I thought that we were only charged 11% tax but I could be incorrect. I know that the All Stars do charge 12% but for some reason I did not think I was charged 12% at the AKL. Anyone just back from the AKL remember if you were charged 11% or 12% tax on your room rate?

Okay. I am going to answer my own question. I pulled out our paperwork from our trips last year. We use PassPockets to keep our trip info in.

I booked a water view room with an AP rate of $159 a night plus tax of 11% for a per night rate of $176.49 tax included. So the rate at the AKL is 11% not 12% like the All Stars.
