They're all nice......just pick a theme. Old South, French Quarter, Southwestern look or Carribean Beach.

Our Family has stayed at POFQ; PORS; and CBR......
I liked them all - CBR was our first and is special to me.....
My DW thinks that PORS formerly Dixielandings is the best............

I have stayed at all four and my least favorite is alot of peoples favorite so I agree that you should investigate any pictures and reviews and pick which theme excites you. It is difficult to do sometimes. Each of the resorts has pros and cons but they are all great places to stay.

I would do a search on the boards on all four resorts. That way you can look at what people have said over a period of time. Then look at the photos and decide what theme you like. (this site has lots and so does wdwig.com as well as laughing place) Most of the moderates are very similar in regards to size of room and ammenities offered. There is a little variance but not a whole lot. The CBR was just recently rennovated and the CSR is the newest of the four. Keep in mind that the CSR is a convention hotel and that can be good or bad depending on your perspective.

The POFQ was the first one we went to, and it holds a special place in our hearts. But, we also like Riverside. CSR isn't our cup of tea since we live in the southwest it is too much like home.

All moderates offer two double beds or a king and they all offer water or standard views.

When you narrow it down then you can post a question about which one people prefer and why. But be ready for a wide range of opinions. I don't think you can go wrong at any of them. Afterall, it is all Disney. Good luck.

There is a lot of wonderful information found on the Dreams Unlimited Travel's "Around the World in 30 Days Tour" website. (http://198.65.141.47/) Start searching through there for all of the WDW Moderate Resorts. You can also find some info on the actual Walt Disney World website (http://www.waltdisneyworld.com), too.

If you provide some idea of what's important to you, it might help to get more specific suggestions. Do you enjoy strolling through the grounds or want something more centralized? If you plan to spend a lot of time at DD, PO might be nice because of the boat access. If you like to spend a lot of time in the hot tub, CSR might be nice as the hot tub is huge. You get the idea...

Also, if you plan to dine at the resort quite a bit, you might look at menu's and consider the available restaurants when making resort choices. The food court at CSR works differently than the rest, so if you're planning lots of meals at the food court, you might check into that.

Finally, there are some very good rates available at AKL and WL that bring them pretty darn close to a moderate rate. If you have any flexibility in your budget, you might also look at those.

Happy planning!
