I know some of you enjoy hearing Ferris on the podcast, but the older he gets the more vocal he becomes and harder for us to hold, especially with headphones on and a microphone in front of us. He is very distracting for Julie and me to concentrate during the 4 hours it takes to record show each week, and he gets real antsy in that room.
We are very happy to say that we have a Tuesday sitter lined up for him at our house!! :worship:

Yes, we will miss hearing him, but I know all too well how distracting they can be :rolleyes1 That headphone and microphone make great toys, don't they :rotfl:

Congrats on getting a permanent sitter that you are both comfortable using! We definitely will miss hearing him so I'd like to formally request he make a cameo every few months! ;)

Please record a few of Ferris' giggles into Pete's sound machine so we don't miss him too much!
Glad you found a good sitter for him.

Giggles are fine and cute but the timely raspberries are what I will miss most.

Kevin and John can make the raspberries!
I completely understand. We took Ginny with us to the Melting Pot last night and she was not the usually quite little girl that she has always been.
There will be a sitter in our future too. :thumbsup2

I will miss hearing him, but was wondering how it would work with two babies! ;)

Is the sitter Max the intern or Max the dog? They are still different entities, right? :goodvibes

Congrats on finding a sitter Corey and Julie. I know finding daycare/sitting can be a challenge. I also know it can sometimes be a challenge finding work/family balance. I've certainly had to take my girls into my work with me at times. My students will never forget the time Maggie fell asleep in my endocrinology class.

I vote for cameos too!!! And a regular "send Ferris to the Parks" segment with pics and sound.
Ferris always knows when to throw in the appropriate raspberry...that kids got great comic timing.

I hope Ferris get's to have some special guest appearances on the podcast. Maybe he'll get a spin-off podcast!

Totally understandable, I know my kids wouldn't sit still for 4 hours.

Congrats Corey and Julie on getting a sitter. Even though you'll be working hopefully you will be able to feel a little more relaxed.
Completely unrelated to the sitter deelio... I have become a new fan of the show "The Office" and the couple Pam and Jim remind me of you guys! They are a cute couple and I just saw their wedding on TV and Pam is pregnant. They are TV's Corey and Julie! :happytv:

I totally understand. The older the get, the harder it is to take them to work with you.
I'll miss his cute little noises, though!

You know what's odd, before i knew what the various members of the crew looked like, I always pictured Julie as Pam from the Office :happytv:
Congrats on the sitter Corey, will be not just easier for you and Julie but also for Ferris, I imagine :)

Sounds like a good arrangement, Corey.
Please do record some of his raspberries and gurgles so that they can be injected into the podcast at an appropriate time - we love them.
Somehow Kevin's sound effects just aren't the same... :rolleyes1

As much as I enjoy hearing Ferris's little noises, I completely understand.
It will be easier for you and Julie and it will probably be much easier for Ferris too.

Awwww!! Ferris' noises were sort of a joke in our house. We have a baby who is one month younger and we used to have to guess which baby was making the noise (we listen in bed). His sweet baby noises resulted in some good laughes on my end.
Maybe you and Julie could sneak in a quick dinner on Tuesday's...make it date/work night.

I can't imagine a baby that age not wanting to be quietly still for four hours! ;)
I sometimes wondered how you got through it all with him being as quiet as he was.
At least now when I have the podcast on I won't think (even for a half-second), "There's a baby in the house? What the- Oh, wait. Ferris."

After hearing the last show, I was thinking that when baby #2 comes along, you two will really have your hands full at the tapings!
Glad you are able to work it all out!::yes::
