Surrey Bikes at WL

Can someone give me info on the surrey bike rentals at WL? I have heard that you can rent them and ride over to FW for pony rides, petting zoo and so forth. Is this true? How much are they? Can you rent them from there even if you are not staying there?

No, staying at CBR, that is why I asked if you had to be staying WL in order to rent them. I am sure we will visit WL since DW and I had our honeymoon there 8 years ago and I know we will go to FW for the movie, so I thought about renting the surrey bikes from there and riding over on our first day since we have nothing planned that day.

Did you miss type the date you are going to WL? you sig says CBR/WL July/Aug, are you staying in CBR the whole month of August?

You're right!!! That's the second time I did that (wishful thinking, I guess ;) !!) We will be checking in to CBR on 7/26 and WL on 7/30...be sure to wear your lime green ribbon!!!!
Do you just want to rent a surrey bike, or specifically at WL? (I believe that CBR has these for rent also.....)

I don't think you have to staying at the WL to rent the surrey bike, but they do rent them by the half hour. So if you want to ride them over and watch a movie, that could get quite expensive. I think it's $18 per half hour!!! Also, I don't remember seeing them used after dark, so that might also put a krimp in your plans as well. The paths aren't welll it in my opinion for bike riding after dark.

We always go over to WL to rent the surrey's... and, yes we always ride over to FW's petting zoo (great for kids)... then we ride back... Usually we're out for 90 minutes, but it is a lot of fun & the best place to rent surrey's IMHO... and no, we've always stayed at other Disney resorts even though we rented at WL...

DW has already gotten the ribbon, it will be on us somewhere. Also, I realize CBR has the surrey bikes but I thought it would be fun to ride from WL to FW and go to the petting zoo. We'll see how things work out. Hope to run into you.

BTW, 7/30 is my wedding anniversary.

I actually didn't mean I would ride over and stay for the movie. Just stating to Kimmar067 that we were going over there. Sorry for the confusion.
