Off topic I know, but I just wanted to tell everyone.

I have just taken delivery of an adapted Chrysley Grand Voyager.
It has a lowered flor, elictric door & ramp and a wheelchair lockdown in the driving position.

After two years without a car, trying without much success to get around using public transport, I am finally mobile again.

This is my third great 'freedom' event.

Five years back, after years using a can and making excuses not to leave home or just to sit in my car wherever I went, I hought a wheelchair and was able to get out and about.

Three years back I bought my power chair and was able to go down to the local shops on my own (15 mile battery range). This was wonderful.

Now, the third ling in the chain has arrived. I can drive anywhere. When I get there I am mobile. I have years of tourist and shopping trips to catch up on.

Congratulations! This is great news. I have an adapted Town and Country Minivan and I don't know what I would do without it. The lowered floor makes it easier to get into garages without worrying about the van being too tall.
Enjoy your new freedom!

I hope you enjoy your van as much as we enjoy ours.

Freedom of movement is a wonderful thing.

And congratulations, Lisa, on another step in your recovery.
