DH, DS, & I went to Michael's tonight. We got there at the perfect time--I just had to wait in line about 5 minutes or so, and they opened the doors (they actually opened about 10 min before 5).
I was able to get Paisley and My Community! They had plenty of those, as well as Designer's Calendar and Old West. No Dino Tracks, though, and no Elmo's Party. I also got 3 Iris boxes!
The one thing that surprised me was that, of the licensed carts, they only had Pooh and Friends out. They had a Sesame Street, Tink, and Cars in the cage, but they had it blocked by other stuff, so unless you went over there (and far away from the "sale" section), you didn't see them.
I did feel like I had accomplished something when I was able to walk out with what I wanted, though!!
Good luck to everyone on the shopping missions!!

Here in Ontario, its not on sale but I found Fiskar's stamp machine $9.99. On line at any place else its over $39.00. Also they had Fiskars clear stamps, a large sheet for $1.88. I love Liquidation World.
I am hitting Michaels tomorrow night and hope to get Sweet Treat cartrige and a couple Iris containers for $6.99.

We got to Michael's just before they opened and it seemed like everyone in line was there for either Cricut cartridges or Jetmax cubes. I bought Animal Kingdom, A Child's Life, and Paisley for my daughter for Christmas, and Alphalicious and Winter Woodland for myself. My daughter bought Wild West for me for Christmas. She also bought two Jet Max cubes for her scrapbook room. Earlier today I was able to win Tags, Bags, and Boxes on Ebay for $20.50...it's a gift for a friend of mine. It was really great how nice all of the shoppers were at Michael's. Anytime anyone mentioned a certain cartridge, someone else found and it and handed it to them. It was great!
I found a picture frame at M's tonight for DD's WDW sillouette picture. DD's pic looks terrific in it.
If you never had your kids sillouette done at Fronterland at MK, I highly recommend it. What a great souvenier!

Got 3 carts, put 2 back. DH said they were my birthday gifts so I may get him to get the other 2 tomorrow.
the Michael's lady that came out to give us the pep talk asked if anyone was there for the gypsy and we all said no. She was shocked, happy, but shocked. We were all on our best behavior!!! And some lady is going to have one awesome Xmas, her DH was there buying a cricut and at least 4 or 5 carts at last glance.

I got Sweet Treats and Paisley for my ILs to give me for Christmas and a bunch of Iris boxes. Princess came with me and we found some adorable American Girl items. Of course, I found paper, I always find paper. There was some nice ribbon for 60 cents too! It was a reallllly nice store. I'll definitely go back :)
I also picked up a Designer's Calendar for Holly, since I was there and they had it. I'll bring it back if she finds it elsewhere this weekend. I didn't really even look at any of the other carts, I knew what I wanted so I looked for those. I think I saw Pagoda and Old West.

I went to Michael's with mom- she got 4 jetmax cubes and the shelves to go with them, I got one cube, she also got an iris box and I got the From my Kitchen cart. I will see about other carts before getting any more at Michaels. I also picked up 2 awesome art kits for a child from the angel tree at church(he wanted drawing kits).
We have our line up for tomorrow mapped up.

No problem, Holly. Morgan is all over getting there again, she loves loves loves B&N and Panera.
I'm sad that we didn't get to see you, but loved texting you as you were driving by! I was going to try to find your house and drop some stuff off, but my co-pilot was getting whiny and hungry. Just means I have to see you this week!
Good luck today, DH just went to Target for a video game for himself, when he gets back, I'll go to ACM and get my credit. I *may* check out how bad WM is. I bet it's a zoo ;)

I went to M's last night. We were having dinner with friends, so I knew we wouldn't be there at opening. That was okay with me, because I decided to wait for the other store's sales. If they had Old West, I would get it, if not, no biggie. I did get the Jetmax cubes I wanted, and the store in our friend's smaller town had a better selection. But all the new carts were long gone.
This morning, it timed out for me to be at my M's at opening. I was going for poster frames, didn't have room in my cart last night with the cubes. But they had bins with the cartridges in the framing section. They had TONS of the new styles. More than people that were waiting. I guess they held some back for this morning. I don't know what they had last night, but really, there were 8-10 each style, still left after the crowd cleared. So I got Old West after all! I seriously considered getting Paisley, but I spent a fortune on stuff for the house. In fact, I am thinking about skipping J's tomorrow. I was going to get Storybook, but if I survived this long without it, I could survive another few months.

TB and I are back from Absolutely Everything! We did great (I even won one of the two door prizes while we were in line!) and were out of there in exactly one hour this morning.
We both got great stuff - 15/$1 paper - Mind's Eye, Little Yellow Bicycle, CosmoCricket, etc.)!!!, Prima stuff, Queen and Co, DaisyDs, great page/card kits packed with embellishments, Thickers, and so on. I also got two Cricut carts for $5 each: Jasmine and 50 States. Wasn't really looking for them - since I've never seen Cricut stuff there before, but at that price wasn't leaving them there! TB got oodles of clear stamp sets, Gelatins/Maya Road, bling embellishments, and more...
It is pouring here - so snug and safe at home now - let the scrapping begin!
Good luck to everyone out there (and on their computers) snagging great deals!
Sounds like you ladies had some fun! :) I couldn't drag myself out of bed. I recently started some new meds for my stomach and they make me real sleepy! I may take Mom over to ACM later to use the 50% coupon for a gift for one of my brothers kids.
MA ladies - which Michaels are you talking about in a plaza? Is it the one off 495? I think I went there once..?? Last week I was at the one in Mansfield but that plaza has a Borders and not a Barnes & Noble.

Scored Winter Woodland for $35.99 and Speaking of Fall for $27.99 at Michael's.
I was up at 5, to my Wal-Mart by 5:10 for the Cricut Expressions machine, only to be told that they were all GONE! The store was a madhouse! I was bummed. I did get the 1 Terabyte external hard drive for $79 THey had a short order line, so I was out of the store in 15 minutes. I need the photo storage.
My sister called me from the Indianapolis area at 8:20 a.m. She asked me what I had been looking for, since she had a space right at the door of Wal-Mart. She managed to grab me the Expression for $188! Woooo Hoooooooo
Went to Jo's--misread the ad and thought the carts were on sale today. Nope. Tomorrow. I will be at a dog show when Jo's opens, so no chance at those. However, they did give me 50% off Design Studio! So that was $45!!! Plus, 40% off mats--bought two packs for my new Expression. They had K&Company scrapbooks--bundled 2 in a pack for $9.99 (regularly 29.99) SCORE!
I'm pretty happy

Holly- try online for cyber monday- they have a website for that one too
Mom and I left the house at 2am to head to Toy's R Us- we got all kinds of toys for my nieces and nephews, a movie for DH, and some cards for our angel tree child.
We waited 80 minutes in line to check out at there and then headed onto Target- at target we got a griddle(brother-in-law), some movies, and toys.
Headed out of target and went to Kohl's - everything we wanted was available (griddle for DH), toaster oven(mom), nightgowns(niece), shirts(DH), toys, pillows
After that we headed to Bealls- got fisher-price toys 60% off, leash, shoes (me), and some men's gifts, we moved across the parking lot to Kmart and picked up some car things.
We headed to Wlagreens and mom got a hotwheels toy and a dance pad for my niece/nephew.
We drove down to the nearest walmart (7:30am) and looked for carts- didn't see those but got a mini crockpot and a princess dress up trunk
Afterwards we headed to our local Christian bookstore and picked up some books, toys, and music.
Our last stop included abother visit to Michaels(got Calendar cart and some drawing pads for angel tree), Bed Batrh & Beyond (various small kitchen items, snuggie for my puppy, and snuggies for my sister's kids).
I had decided it wasn't worth trying to drive to the other 2 walmarts- we were very tired.
I haven't decided if I am going to Joanns tomorrow or not- I don't have any carts I really need now.
DH and dad went out shopping at 3:30- at HHgregg they got a garmin(for us), a steam cleaner(for us), and 2 new flatscreen 21.5 monitors); then they headed to Sam's to get the Playstation 3 bundle from there(brother), Staples for Photoshop Elements(me), Photo paper, visor bluetooth(Dh and brother), batteries; then they moved onto Ace- lots of tools(DH).

Wow, Rebecca, you kicked it today!!
DH did our early morning run this morning. He got 5 sets of Disney pajamas for DS (they were $3 a set at Wally) and a Learn & Groove music table. Then, he went to Home Depot, but they weren't open. He ventured into Target, but the checkout lines wrapped around the inside, so he wouldn't even look for stuff! He went on to work, and then stopped at Home Depot again on the way home. He got a tape measure set (of 4) for $10 and the cutest Christmas rug for our front porch! We went back to Wally tonight to get groceries, and they had ONE V-smile baby (which we'd been wanting to get for DS). I had to take EVERYTHING off of the shelf to find it, but I re-stocked it!
We may go to Babies R Us tomorrow to look at a toddler bed (not for Christmas--just hoping for a sale!)
We are hoping to get the Christmas stuff down tonight! :santa:

So I was good today! I didn't buy anything at work, or Express, even though they were having a 25% off sale, and our stores are connected...
When my mom went out to go food shopping, I had her get me the 10$ Sandylion sticker pack - there was a lot of cute stuff in there! There was also some I won't use, but a lot of it I will, which was great.
I picked out 7$ worth of stuff from AE.... other than that, I was good! I'm done Christmas shopping, and I need to save for books for next semester, so I need to not buy anything.

The $199 price for the Wii at WM is what my parents got for us back in October, so they should have it back in stock before Christmas. I think this is the new average price on the wiil. Also you could check craigslist. I have seen a lot for sale with lots of extras. I had posted my Cricut deals earlier, but the other shopping deals so far this weekend.
M's - 4 Jetmax, 2 Iris, 4 frames
Walmart - Cricut, Sweethearts, Woodland Winter, Everyday Paper Dolls
Kohls Online - Plush blanket, 2 down comforters
JC Penny - 4 towels, plush blanket, 2 PJ bottoms, 1 PJ top
Target - 2 queen size sheet sets
Disney Store - 4 ornaments
M's again - Old West, 10 frames
Penny's again - Full size sheet set, Christmas present for Mom.
So I spent a ton, but I have brand new linens for our new queen bed, and for the guest room. And I will be able to frame a bunch of stuff. Lots of useful stuff, and not really shopping for the sake of shopping. Except the Cricut stuff...:rolleyes1

My success story came to an end. I got a late start this morning, so I was probably #20 in line at J's. They had a display up front with all the tags for the cartridges they had. But they only let people in in groups of 5. Nice if you were first, since you could get all you wanted without any difficulty, but for me it meant no Storybook, by the time I got in. I did get Graphically Speaking, so I didn't leave empty handed.

All in all it was a couple of great shopping days! I was able to get everything that I went after and just a few extras. I did buy the main thing on DS's Christmas list, the Geotrax Tibertown railroad for full price, just so we would have it. I am hoping that it goes on sale before Christmas so that I can either get a price adjustment or return and repurchase it. Otherwise, the deals were good.
I was up at 1:50 and in line for Kohl's about 3:15 on Friday. :faint: DH and my teenage sister went with me so that helped. We made it to Walmart by 4:45. I was the 4th person in line for the Cricut pallate. There was no employee to cut the plastic off at 5, so one of the resourceful ladies I was waiting in line with opened a pair of scissors and did it herself (she did buy the scissors after using them). :lmao: I got Child's Year :woohoo: and had a red Cricut in my cart. I pused it around forever, but ended up putting it back. :guilty: It just is not in the budget right now. I teared up as I put it back on the shelf. I went to J's today and got a Hello Kitty cart. It was one of the few left at about 10 am. I plan on exchanging it for a different one in a few weeks.
All in all a good trip, but I am still mourning the E that was almost mine. :sad1:

I went to J's at about 11 am. Not to get any of their "doorbusters" but just to pick up some things I needed. When I went to check out, the line wrapped around the through the store - about 60 people in line, an estimate. At that point, I had a panic attack and left. I felt bad about leaving the cart but I only had about 5 things in it. I just had to leave.
Did great at Kohl's and Target though for Christmas presents and we didn't go out until about 9 am. Can't cope with waiting in line at 3 am.
