Transpo to get to FW to attend Mickeys' BBQ

Okay, I was hoping you experts might be able to help me with some wisdom here - we are staying at CBR and have tix for the Backyard BBQ at FW.
I have heard some nightmare stories about how bad it is getting there and long waits for buses etc. Any tips on doing this? I have tried to research it out on my own but mainly have found to leave at least 1 hour to get there. We have a 2 yr old with us and I want to keep the drama in getting there to a minimum. Any tips? :confused:

My advice is: take a bus to MK and then catch the boat to FW. The BBQ is a short walk from the boat dock - just head to the right on the path to River Country. Allow yourself an hour from when you reach the CBR bus stop to catch the MK bus, just to be on the safe side. Have fun! Oh yeah, after the BBQ, just catch the boat back to MK and a bus back to CBR. The FW "color-coded internal bus system" can be overwhelming for your first time, so do the boat - it's easiest IMHO.;)
