Thinking about the dining plan for 2A, 2C. Suppose the two adults go out for an adults only dinner, leaving an extra 2 kids TS credits. Can anything be done with them other than using them at a TS restaurant?

If we get the plan, the idea would be to not really come out of pocket too much. So, we wouldn't want to do an extra TS and pay for 2 adults.

Can the stray kids TS credits be used for counter service? Can you order a kids meal via room service and use the TS credits? What are other options?

You might be able to use them at a CS (for kids' meals only). You cannot use children's TS credits to order a pizza delivered at a value/moderate - I don't know about using them for room service at a deluxe. I'm pretty sure it would take 2 credits for 1 meal and would have to be a children's menu meal if room service has a children's menu.

What about getting take out at a table service for the kids meals and eating them in your room or at a CS? I can imagine take out from the restaurant inside the pyramid at Mexico and then eating 2 adult CS meals at the outdoors CS restaurant.

Our kids go to the Neverland Club each trip and always have this happen. What we do is schedule an extra meal (usually a breakfast on our last day) that the adults pay oop and we use the kids credits.

Hope this helps some. :)

I don't think the Disney TS restaurants do take out like that, do they?

No, they don't.

No, they don't.

Thanks! I didn't think so since it would be even more stress on the restaurant.

OP - you could go to a restaurant and order a salad/appy or share a dish for you and your spouse and the kids could use their dining credits. It's still out of pocket but less then a full meal.
