Can DVC members stay at BWI, BC?

Now that we're DVC members, if there's a good rate at BC or BWI, and no availability at BCV & BWV when I want to go, is there anything preventing me from calling CRO and booking it? Am I "inelligible" to stay in these resorts on cash? Don't want to do anything wrong and have the DVC police after me (LOL)!

You can stay with cash anywhere, you just can't stay on points at those resorts. You could even book a cash reservation at a DVC resort through CRO if you wish. I'm running short on points next year, I'm hoping to get a Saturday night in May at OKW with a code rate (better than the 25% DVC gives). Last May it was like $229 for a 1 bedroom (regular $375).

When you say "better than the 25% DVC gives" do you mean that if you want to stay cash for whatever the reason you can get a discount thru or because of DVC membership?? That would be nice if correct.

The 25% that Debbie is referring to is for cash stays at DVC resorts only. If you are a DVC member and make a cash reservation at a DVC resort, you can ask if there is availability for the 25% discount. I have heard, however, that this discount is getting harder and harder to come by so I doubt it is something to count on.
