Does the new 15 month timeframe apply only if you are renewing an annual pass or also if you are purchasing an annual pass?

15 month applies to any renewal. We are DVC and non-FL residents and got the 15 month deal when we renewed last month. I do not recall hearing about getting the 15 months on an initial AP purchase though.

Thanks. That is how I understood it but just wanted to be sure.

If the military voucher is for a RENEWAL then yes. If the voucher is for an initial annual pass, then no. The 15 month deal is good on renewals only.

Florida residents get the bonus for any (new or renewal) AP purchased prior to 12/31/09. This is posted at the ticket windows in the parks and in ads being run on the radio. DVC members and current AP holders are being offered the same deal on renewals.

Sorry...I don't pay attention to Florida resident rates because I am not one. I was answering specificially to Joie, who is also not a resident, but thanks for the info....good information to have just in case circumstances change.

I actually am a florida resident... i'm in alabama for school. so if i purchase a florida resident annual pass on the military base before Dec 31st i will be able to get 15 months instead of 12 months even if i'm not exchanging it until April 5th?

Sorry...I saw your location as Alabama so I responded with that in mind. I would assume under your circumstance that you can get the 15 months, but I think I'd just call up Disney ticketing or check on base if you really want to be 100% sure.

Nope. Not for FL residents only. I got the extra months with renewal.
