Exchanging transportation credit Northwest Air

Hi,
We have been watching the ticket prices on already purchased tickets from Northwest. The price has gone down a couple of times.
We called Northwest and will be getting a few transportation credit exchange coupons. We have received one of the coupons so far, but there is no info on how to redeem the coupons.
Has anyone redeemed these vouchers?

being a former travel agent, i can tell you...youwill have to call NW to book your flights. they will then give you instructions on how to redeem your vouchers. you may have to make a trip to your local airport though. you can also take them to a travel agent. well, at least i think that you can still take them to a travel agent. but beware...the airlines have recently cut travel agent commissions completely. agencies have had to begin charging service fees for everything. be prepared to pay some sort of service fee with an agent. i always recommend supporting your local travel agents, but i can understand not wanting to pay ridiculous fees...
