Closing Costs

We are buying 170 points at BWV from our friends. I'm not sure how the closing works. We had to submit an Agreement of Sale letter to Disney. Not sure what happens once we receive the OK from Disney for the sale. Anyone have some info and what closing costs. Thanks

You (or the seller) will need to find someone able to have the deed recorded. To protect yourselves, you might consider having a title search done on the property (and get Title Insurance). You will likely need an attorney or closing agency to handle these issues for you, if you are unable to provide these services for yourself. Good Luck!

Kathy, you could talk to Nancy Spohn at Holland & Knight in Orlando. She is their timeshare closing manager and handled ours through a resale broker.
Her number is 407 244-5246. Charges include overnight mailing, title insurance, recording fees, closing fees, etc. For us for a 200 point contract they came to $430.76
