Hi all,
A fellow disser got in touch last week to ask if i had ever seen the film the miracle of cards - a very sick little boy recieved cards from strangers and it inspired him to get well. :thumbsup2 She suggested that maybe i should try something similiar using this board as the people who could send cards.
I have thought long and hard about this and after asking Mandymouse if would be ok and talking to dh we think everything has to be worth a go !! If this thread offends anyone im sorry.
So as we dont actually know when Camerons operation is now I was wondering if anyone would be willing to send him a get well card and we will give them to him to open on the morning of his operation - we can then put them up in his hospital room while we wait for him to come out of theatre. If you are willing to help with this if you PM me ill send you my address details.
I know it sounds far fetched but anything that may work has to be worth a shot !!!

Wow thank you everyone im so amazed by the amount of people who have requested my address - seriously a massive thank you from the bottom of our hearts !!:flower3:

My postman is going to hate me when he sees the amount of cards coming to our house :rotfl2:
Cant wait to see cams face whenhe sees how many cards he gets he only normally gets something from his mom and dad :)

Hi all,
Thanks so much for the cards we have received so far - even my postman has questioned why so many cards for my little man !!!:rotfl2: Little does he know theres more to come :lmao:

we have recieved a lovely pressie today for Cameron but we cant find anywhere a note to say who its from - I would love Cameron to thank you properly for this gorgeous gift so if you could let mne know who sent it id be very grateful !! We are not giving it to him till the morning of the operation but I can assure you he will love it me and dh were wowwing as we opened it trying to find out who it was from :love: We have wrapped it all back up and cant wait to see his face when he upwraps it !!
For everyone else reading this it is the most gorgeous stitch soft toy and a disney store stitch mug which Cam has been eyeing up for ages !!
So thank you to our secret sender and hopefully you will let us thank you properly.

Must take card out of handbag and put in post!!!

I've put 2 little green mickey heads on the back on the envelope so you know what it is. You can open that one as the card and surprise for Cam is in there. And I apoligise now for my DIY Clip art 'wrapping paper' :rotfl: it could have been worse, the only other chioce I have at work is headed paper or a tissue!!!

Thank you it arrived this morning and i have to admit I was very confused :confused3 at why 2 - its all becoming clear now :)

Thank you to everyone else too as we now have nearly 40 cards - dh said when he is in theatre we will be able to decorate the whole of the room with them now :rotfl2:
