Sailor Mickey to sail over NYC streets in Macy's parade

Posted this on the News and Rumors board, but for those of you who dont read over there.....

Sailor Mickey will take part in his first-ever Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year, flying high above the New York City streets and representing Disney Cruise Line. This is the first time that Disney Cruise Line has participated in the parade, which is in its 83rd year.

When inflated, the Sailor Mickey balloon will stand six stories tall. He is expected to sail the city streets as part of this parade for the next two years, and as part of the agreement with Disney Cruise Line, Sailor Mickey will also serve as this year’s Macy’s official holiday ambassador, with a collectible talking plush now available at Macy’s stores.

The Sailor Mickey balloon and plush are being introduced as Disney Cruise Line readies for the launch of Disney Dream.

They really dont bring in any large balloon's for that event. Usually just the Macy's stars and some other small stuff.
