I wasn't sure how to search for this. I would like to add on at HH, but dh won't add on since he hasnt' seen it. I was wondering if they have any incentive type rates for those exploring add ons (similar to the program for new members-- stay for reduced rate and attend seminar). Or would we have to pay the full cash rate to check it out? :(

....even now

I believe I remember last year or so when a member called to see if they could stay on the special MB rate on the DVC site for HHI (at that time 3 nights at $99/night plus tax plus a 4th night free in a 2-bedroom *must take tour*), and they were told, "Yes, as long as you do not own at HHI, you can stay on this promo." I don't know if this is still true, but it worth checking into.

Hi,
They do offer a promotional rate for those who want to particpate in the tour and possibly purchase. However, these rates are only applicable for certain dates. Check the DVC website, I believe it is posted there. I tried to get a promotional rate for June and it was not available.
Good luck.

tends to run from mid September to mid March. It is a limited offer that is probably tied to occupancy rates at any given time. My in-laws stayed there last October and we joined them as we were all headed down to Florida for a family wedding. It is a very low key sales pitch. My in-laws were back in about 20 minutes after coffee and a very short video, they were offered a more detailed tour and declined. We are HH owners and have pretty much told them all there is to know about DVC.
