I was just wondering if anyone has the figures on what the cost would be for me to upgrade my child's 8 day ticket with regular dining to an adult ticket? Thanks to anyone that can give info!

The ticket price isn't very much, it's the price difference between the child DDP and the adult DDP that will make it expensive.
I'm sure it will be much cheaper to add an additional side to the child's meal, than to upgrade the DDP to adult. I found the CS meals to be quite large and could easily share with a child.

Agreed. Most adults find the portions too much - it is highly unlikely that your child, who is obviously under 10 if you are asking about upgrading, is going to get the best value from the extra expense of the adult DDP. You will pay the difference for both between the adult and child prices. Unless you have someone in your party with a large appetite who is likely to devour all the leftovers it may not be the most cost effective for you.

It depends. On a regular reservation you will have to register the child as 10 years old and buy everything as if they were 10. So you will pay the difference between the adult and child dining plans, and the difference between the adult and child park ticket. If you're on the free dining promotion, you will buy an adult park ticket. You would have to figure the cost difference between an 8 day child park ticket and an 8 day adult park ticket.
If you're going to be doing a lot of buffets, don't bother upgrading and just supplement the a la carte and CS meals for the child by buying something extra (or share your food with them).

OK, thanks for your advice. I looked at our ADRs and we have 5 buffet meals out of 9, so it isn't worth paying the difference. I was just concerned about the other TS meals where she doesn't eat the food selections for the children's meals. I think we will just order and pay OOP for her to get steaks or fish instead of chicken nuggets, hot dogs, or hamburgers. It will be much cheaper than upgrading because we are not on a free dining package.
