I need an easy hoilday centerpiece that my Brownie troop can make. We've offered to make about 6 centerpieces for the local food bank for their big Christmas dinner. The girls are 2-3rd grades. We have a huge bag of pine cones and will have to buy any other supplies.

The only thing I could come up with was maybe take a round (wreath shape but smaller) thing of florists foam and have the girls poke in floral picks and pine cones then put a candle in the middle. Sounds kind of boring though - I wa slooking for something more kid like!

Thank you!!

We put mini pinecones into a clay pot and hot glued them to stay down. Added some chenille stems (aka pipe cleaners) with pony beads on them. Our local ABC Store had some turkey cutouts that we put on pipe cleaners too.

Tied a pretty fall colored ribbon around them and they were done!

HTH!
