Here's a combination for you - Southwest air fare sale, points I wanted to use before February, Annual Passes, and DD starts mid-school on Aug. 13. Only problem was, a last minute place to stay, and we got it! Starting Aug. 6, three nights at OKW in a studio just for me and DD, then two nights in a studio at BCV, and I called on Monday! The first night was waitlisted, but came through today. So what the heck, got on the waitlist to stay at BCV the whole time. Tried to bring DD's best friend, but her parents said no. Oh well, hoping we have enough fun to hang on to that magic throughout the tumultuous 6th grade year. (But if anyone has a DD in the 11 year age range going the same week, LMK!) Dad's staying home this time, but will be on the cruise with us in Oct. So how's that for flexibility?

AWESOME!! We're doing the same thing Labor Day weekend, just 3 nights, but what the heck! SWA came out with their fares & we had extra points, so we're using them!! We got an OKW studio for the 3 nights, but then I called back & they had 2 nights at VWL available so I jumped on that & then yesterday the first night came available, so we now have 3 nights at WLV's, but I'm still hoping the BCV's might come available for the weekend, as we're spending a weekend at WLV's the weekend after Thanksgiving!!

It's pretty easy to get a few nights with last minute notice as long as you're flexible...

We did an impulse trip on about 30 days notice in May of 2001. DW did all the leg work to find the airfare and BOOM! we did 4 nights at OKW. Nice to have a few extra points laying around for a quick, fun trip!

Great news...I'm jealous...we have to wait 12 more weeks for our stay at the BCV. Have a blast and report when you get back.

Of course he has a name! Meet Elvis, our Tonkinese boy. His picture got added during a thread by cat lovers on the DIS, and I never changed it. He's 3 years old and the most loving and outgoing cat I've ever known. If you're looking for a cat that loves to snuggle, play, meet people, and generally drive you nuts, I'd recommend a Tonk! Bewarned though, when you go to WDW, you have to get a sitter. He HATES being alone. Diana
