Me and DH do it all the time. Usually its the double cheeseburger with bacon. We eat lunch at the pool and its too hot for all that food, so we just split it.
We've done it inside the parks too. :goodvibes

Yes. We have done this and it is a great idea if neither of you are very hungery or if the portions are too large. We normally eat several small meals and we do this so that we have a smalelr meal using one credit and then again a few hours later with the other credit. It works out great for us.

Mom and I did this on our last trip - neither of us are really big eaters and it gave us more meals.:thumbsup2

I have a question about this. I saw that at counter service meals like Cosmic Rays, the chicken can come with either 6 or 8. Does anyone know how many it is on the dining plan. I am trying to figure out which meals to split.

Do you mean nuggets? On the dining plan I believe you can order either size.

You can order either size nuggets. You can also order a medium or a large drink - order the large because you don't get refills.

Not sure I understand you - 6 or 8 what? The chicken at Cosmic Rays is a half grilled chicken. It comes with veg and is a big enough meal to share. They also serve a ribs and chicken combo which is very large.
At Epcot, Sunshine Seasons has main meals that are plenty for two to share and the food is really good as well! Tangierine Cafe shwarma platters are large enough for two.
Flame Tree Barbeque in the Animal Kingdom also does ribs which is plenty to split.
Generally the meals at CS are plenty for two unless one of you is a big eater or really hungry. As an alternative, you could get a CS meal and purchase a side like fries or something small to bulk it up/add some variety. Hope this helps :goodvibes

I think this is a great idea! I'm going to do it during our next trip. I feel like when I'm at WDW, I'm walking all day, smelling the food everywhere and I do get hungry just being there.
BUT if we split meals we could try out more places and not really be eating more than if we each just had a regular meal.
Everyone's suggestions sound yummy!
