I just read my Mickey Monitor. They said that you can donate your free WDW pass from the volunteer promo to charity. I remember Kevin and the crew talking about this recently. I think it was in reference to an ABD trip? And Disney said no? Did they rethink this?

I'm pretty sure the donate the ticket aspect has always been a part of the volunteer promo.

Correct.
They told the Team that the ABD pass could not be donated. Would be nice if it could be.

We have guests traveling on our April ABD trip that hold DL annual passes.
THe ABD trip includes 4 day park hopper tickets.
I was asked to inquie as to whether the unncessary 4 day park hoppers could be donated to a charity similar to GKTW.
I was first told that the park hopper ticket's value could not be subtracted from the package price.
I explained that I was not looking for a reduction in price. I was looking to donate the tickets for the reason listed above.
Again....I was told no. The tickets must be used on the the trip or forfeited.
This is an example of one part of the company not knowing what the other part is doing and it makes them look petty and siorganized.
There is virtually no reason why these tickets could not be donated to charity.
They are being paid for by the guest either way.

Anyone else find the humor in Kevin missing the letters "DIS" when spelling disorganized?

Sorry Kevin - not making fun of you, just thought the "new word" you created was funny. My family is hispanic and it struck me funny with the word petty, since petty is what my son called me once.
