24hours 'till we're at VWL - who/how/when should I (have) call re a woods view...floor, etc. Also, we're going just to tour/buy DVC and got a message from our guide that he won't be there now! He said he'll leave all the paperwork for us. I'm disappointed that he won't be there for us - how would you handle this?

I would request another guide in his place OR change the appt. If you have intentions of buying, you really would be more comfortable actually speaking w/ someone I'm sure. Have a Great Time.

I second change your guide...It makes a difference that there be a live person to answer any last minute questions you might have...

I'm sure they can have a stand in to show you around and answer your questions, just ask.

They will probably assign someone else to give you the tour. They wouldn't expect you to do it alone and just hand you the paperwork.

As far as requests, contact the room controller or the front desk today. They probably already have your room assigned, but maybe able to change it if it's not what you want.
