Changing guides

If I am not happy with my guide is it a bad thing to ask to change, will I be given a hard time?

Hi,
I recently had to change my guide. He had a habit of not returning my phone calls. Overall, I was just not happy with him. When I requested the change, I explained my reasons and that was all there was to it. It really wasn't a big deal and disney was very apologetic.

Do it! You have every right to feel satisfied with the level of assistance you are getting.

If you are unhappy with your guide,you should absolutly ask for someone else. This is your right. Fortunatly I have been very happy with my guide, Byron.

i changed guides when mind had to retire (health reason) and they assigned me to someone I did not know and had never worked with - no problem to change at all.
