Advice Needed EMH 22/11

Hi all,
I am going to Disneyland Paris on Sunday (22/11) for 2 nights and staying at the Newport Bay. This trip is just for a quick fix as need my annual disney magic. Last went with my Boyfriend last year Aug 08, and now going with my mum who hasn't been since Sept 07.

Just a few quick things if anyone can help me out:
1) I have read there are extra magic hours when we are there but does anyone know if these are just in the morning or do they include the night also?

2) I have been reading a few TR's from people who have recently stayed at the Newport Bay and I am a bit worried now about staying there....it sounds a little bit drab and as most have said is in need of a lick of paint. I have stayed at Sequoia Lodge the last twice and thought would be nice to have a change. Has anyone got any positives they can tell me about Newport bay before I go? I have requested a high floor room-Not sure why just though the view would be nice.

3) How are the crowds this time of year? I am really looking forward to seeing the christmas decorations and soaking up the atmosphere.

Any help/advice is much appreciated....very excited as we leave on Sunday! :goodvibes

Morning only; currently Sat/Sun/Mon and Wed.

It's an okay hotel, but there are areas which need some paint, mainly away from the main reception area. Our rooms had chipped paint and wood and some of the tiles in the bathroom needed re-grouting. Otherwise the rooms are clean.

We looked at the SL and I thought it looked better than the NPBC, but I didn't see any of the rooms.

Parks were pretty empty Mon-Fri, heaving at the weekends though.
