View Full Version : What did you get with your 50% off coupon from AC Moore?
I caved and bought the MS Icicle border stamp - regular price of $14.99. I also picked up a couple other things and managed to get double points because I went over $25 - and I had a $10 off reward coupon from previous purchases! :thumbsup2

I didn't get out to use it today. It's good through the week, right? I'm sure I'll neeeeeeeed to shop at some point this week ;)
Good all week! Check out the MS stuff in the front of the store - walk in and almost in front of you near the wall on the right. :)

I got 2 MS punch around the page sets, the snowflake and a scallop with dots set. I love printable coupons. I register hopped to get both for 50% off. I hope to get back later this week to get some more goodies. Lately I've been addicted to border punches. Now I just need to get them in the house past DH. Good thing he's working tomorrow night.

We do not have AC Moore here, but I had a 50% M's coupon that I did not use in the scrapbooking department. :scared1: I got DS a pottery wheel for Christmas. He is going to be so excited! He is taking a pottery class and loves it. His instructor told us that he would give us clay and fire anything DS makes for free! :woohoo:

I am going to get a glue stick. Last week I got my ds3 a battery powered Percy train for Christmas. It will go with the track set I got him plus its the only battery one he does not have. I thought he had them all but he showed me I was wrong.

OMG - Holly, be careful with this! I did this EXACT THING years ago at my ACM. I thought this was the world's best idea. The kids loved it - once.
The noise is incredible - even when it was whirring and clanking around in the basement, you could hear it all through the house. And it has to run FOR WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to tumble and polish the rocks. Yes, you read that right!
So, what did I do? Gave TinkerBean's DD one (last Christmas?) from ACM - just because!!!!! And see, she still talks to me! Probably because they haven't used it yet... :rotfl2:

I think we still have a rock tumbler we bought- Dh wanted it- but then we tried using it for a few hours- so not worth using. I can look if we still have it all together I would be happy to pass it on- we won't be using it.

I got another Martha's around the page punch set and made DH go through line on his own and get me the iTop :-) For those that know me I'm very much a matchy-matchy scrapper and I can't wait to making MATCHING brads!

We had a tumbler when I was little and it worked well. Take Bubba to a rock show and buy some rough pieces from the rock hounds there. Tell them what it is for and they will be able to direct you to the best pieces. :thumbsup2

If we didn't throw ours away (!), I'd be happy to give it to you the next time I see you. I'll check in the basement and see if it is still there.
Telling you though...you'll regret it! If you don't want to hear it, you and Jennifer better go out scrapping for a month! (Hey, wait...if you do that, I want to come!)
I'll get back to you after I poke around down there.
Meant to add: I used my ACM 50% off coupon today for a MS edge punch - the cute "classic stars" one. I think it would easily go around the page - I'll check it out.

Oh yes, we go to rock and mineral shows a lot. There are lot of "rock hounds" (the ladies and gentlemen who go out rock collecting) that bring their items to sell. You can find anything from fossils, to gems and minerals, to bulk beads to finished jewelry. They are fun and you never know what you will find. :thumbsup2

Holly, they used to have some of these rock/gem shows at that trade center in Marlborough, MA - not sure if that's still there or the shows are still coming...might be worth checking out.

Oh, ours it worked just fine- or at least it would have if we had been able to take the noise for even 1 night- we were living in a very thin walled apartment complex at the time and so not only was it bothering us but also all of our neighbors- we decided to put it away until we could use it somewhere with thick walls.

Ok - yes, I am a punch ho!!!!
Went back to ACM again tonight with more coupons and more family members - got the (separate packages) MS lattice edge and corner punches. I saw a card today online showing this - looked lovely. Also got a box of My Mind's Eye A2 cards - using them as the base for cards for teachers.
And, yes, Tinkerbean, I got three apple cake mixes for you from the Christmas Tree Shop. The last night of the F&F sale there - we were lucky to escape from there with our lives...it was a madhouse!!!

Nothing, we don't have A.C. Moore here. :( The nearest one is 1200 miles away, in Florida!
