Anyone know if anything will be offered? Like come back in the spring and sail for $1.75???

I won't ever complain about getting a cruise for $99!!! I am just thrilled to death that I am one of the lucky ones. I am sure that in light of 9/11, that this was a one time deal, and probably won't happen again anytime in the near future.

brother inlaw is going on $99.00 cruise and got one of the secret porthole rooms well actually i booked the secret porthole room he got cat 10 inside room we switched cabins and then i canceled the room i got in the trade and then upgraded to cat 7 nav. verandah but but was a good way to make sure he got at least the secret porthole room cause he did pay $99.00
disney would not let him pick cabin on the deal run of ship..
oh yea we have another secret port hole room booked
but r going to upgrade to cat 7 cruise is on the wonder on dec 5th i think it is 5524 peter

I am so jealous of all of you!!!
We are paying full price for our Sept. cruises, and I will be envying all those lucky cruisers on the ship with us who got that great deal. I sure hope they do it next year (although I'm not holding my breath) because we are doing the Western on Jan. 4th. I wish Disney had offered those $99 coupons as a Castaway Club benefit for sheer volume of cruises!!

Barb, I had also wondered about DCL doing the same thing with the coupons in January, and now I am thinking that maybe I should switch my ressies to them. I wouldn't have to change airfare because it would be for the same dates we would already be going...

I sure hope to get the $1.75 cruise, but I know one thing for sure, I won't be telling others on the ship how much I paid for the cruise, because I'm sure they will toss me overborad.:D

Peter we have 5524 on the Magic booked for Halloween. I sure hope it's a good one, we usually have cabin 7054. We thought we would give one of the famous secret porthole rooms a try. We've been waiting almost 2 years to take this cruise. Only a short 99 days to go.:bounce:

I always joke about the Barb & Tony suite, and if we were in it for the three in a row, I probably would have made a little sign for the length of our cruise. But we are in a secret porthole room, so I guess that will be the Barb & Tony annex. For the next year and a half, we're either in one of those or 5650 for all our cruises!

My son and I are working on my husband to get him to agree to the switch. We have been planning on the Pride, only because there were a couple of ports we have not been to before. I will have to keep you all posted.

Barb, if I do convince him to let us switch, then I will want to contribute to the items you may donate in Cozumel.

DW and I are going on 3 day Wonder 12/12/02we even talked two other couples into joining us. As far as looking forward to another coupon or Special, we wouldn't turn it down but are happy with a cruise for 3 nights for around $200 .

We are doing the $99 deal...but we are so lucky....we get to cruise with...

We cannot wait and besides it's my birthday, so that makes it
extra special...what more could one ask for...

a cruise, a birthday, Barb and Tony, no cooking, no cleaning,
being waited on hand and foot....

And it seems as if the five of us(Barb, Tony, dh, dd and me) are the only ones on the ship on 9-5) no one else has responded that they are cruising with us..so we should be even more
pampered than usual!!!

Ginger, we were in cabin 5524 on the Magic when we cruised in Nov. 2000 and we loved it! I was very happy to have one of the "secret" porthole rooms. The view wasn't blocked too badly, there was a barrel in front of the porthole, but it sure was nice to have natural light and when we docked to be able to look out and see the islands! We also thought it was a very convenienrt area of the ship; just a few decks up or down to everything and just down the hall to the kids club. We were lucky enough to snag another "secret" porthole cabin 5520 for our cruise Jan. 4, 2003 and DH, DD and I are very excited!!!!

GINGER out of 4 cruise we have stayyed in secret porthole rooms 3 times ... made mistake of upgrading to cat 4 on MaY11,2002
now we r hooked on VERANDAHHH thing worth the money lol so now we do cat 7 Nav verandah lowest cat we can get with Verandah.

Yeah, I am sailing on the $99 deal too...thanks to everyone who posted about it back in December 2001! :) I had just got off the ship in December and immediatly rebooked in Jan. to get this deal cause since DCL started I don't ever remember a deal like this one...and it was sooooo worth it! I doubt they will offer anything this cheap again, but "a" discount to rebook....heck yeah!

Due to the drop off in traveling after the attacks, this was an enticement given to cruisers who went on the 4 or 7 day cruises in January 2002. It came in the form of a coupon on the last evening of the cruise. It is to be used Sept. through Dec. 2002 with a few blackout dates. You are guarranteed a cat. similar to what you sailed in January. And it is restricted to the people who sailed in January ( I think that is all correct).

Hubby and I are also booked for the $99 cruise October 10th. We booked in January the 1st day the deal came up on the boards. I called Hubby at work and was practically screaming in the phone. This was too much of a deal to pass up. We are also taking my Niece and Nephew with us, we can't wait. We even rented a room this time so we can swim at Atlantis!!!!
