Okay! Next year I am going to spend a couple nights at a Universal hotel while I visit their parks. I have seen some pictures of the Portofino Bay hotel and was wondering if all of the regular rooms here have the pleasent looking shutters that open between the bedroom and bathroom? While this is a nice looking design element I don't know if it will work privacy wise for the person with whom I may be staying here. Thanks.

The deluxe pool rooms have the shutters, the standard rooms don't.

Please forgive me for more questions but I don't know alot about Portofino Bay, though I did take a boat ride to it and walk around. :) Are the "standard" rooms overlooking the front of the hotel and/or are the standard rooms also considered the ones looking out at the "bay".
Also do you know if the rooms at Royale Pacific have the shuuters too? It looks like they may be there in some of the pictures. Thanks again for any help.
RP rooms don'thave the shutters.
The shuttersdon't cause any privacy issues, they shut and lock from the inside and you can't see through them.
I believe only the Villa rooms have the shutters.

The Del. Pool rooms in have them. We had no privacy issues. As stated they lock and do not peep through. The Del rooms have a tub and separate shower with a two sink vanity and toliet . Very large area.

I think deluxe & Villa rooms are one in the same, right?

The rooms overlooking the bay are "bay view" rooms.
Good luck!

We had a bay view room, but I was under the impression that it was just a standard room. Anyway, we DID have the shutters. But again, no privacy problem!

I thought I had a standard room and it had shutters. My only problem was keeping DD from climbing through the window. (Very Nice Room!)
