Expedition Everest Challenge dates for 2010/ Race calendar in general

I'm trying to nail down the details of next year's EEC. I've read it will take place on June 12 on some blogs. There's a very small note with that date at the top of the EEC page on the Disney website, however there's no other information. Does anyone know if the race will still take place in the early evening and when registration will start?

Is there anyplace that I can see all of the Disney Races planned for next year?

Disney has it posted on its website the race is on 6/12/10. I would expect the same race detail except maybe a later start as it stay s lighter later in June vs Sept.

Sorry to butt in here...

But when do they normally open up the registration for races? It is showing June 2010 but there is not current info. But the Oct 2010 race is listed and has info? Is it possible they may not have this race? I was thinking of booking a room but not if the race might be cancelled.

If a race actually has a date, I' have never seen it canceled. For the racces that aren't marathon weekend, it's not uncommon for a shorter registration time. With changing the dates, tehy may need to re-think times and course. They may be waitign for that ebfore opening registreation. For this year's Princess, they changed the course after registration opened. I know that made for some very unhappy princii! lol. I'd be shocked if they canceled it afte rthey had teh date, though. JMO

Thanks for your input. I was just hoping to get everything tied up. the 6 month date is almost here. Does not look like I will be able too.
