Deb - Have a great time at Stomp. I hear its fantastic!!

I also second the motion - all sickies feel better!!

I am currently the only one up!! Latte is almost gone!! I really should get up before the girls more often. It's on my new habits to start list!!

This weekend:

Dishes
Laundry - still have 2 loads to fold
Unpack and hide the Xmas gifts we bought at Disneyland
Take DD to horsemanship clinic today - maybe look at a horse or two
Call the builder rep - construction loan has been approved!!
Pay bills - YUCK - that cruise deposit is gonna hurt this close to Xmas
Call and check on Mom - developed quite a cold at Disneyland

Um...that cannot possibly be all but its a start!!

Question - quite awhile ago I was in a WDW/DLR swap and someone made a pirate Mickey standing near a ships steering wheel. Its a cricut design type but maybe customized. Anyone remember doing it? I am thinking it might have been hopemax? Anyways, my BFF has been after me to find out who did it and see if it is on a Cricut cart or not - she really wants one. I figure I can just send her mine but thought I would ask.

And keep the scrapbooking organizing hints coming - get to gear up to organize the new craft/scrapping room!!:woohoo:

I hope everyone is feeling better!!

I've been out running errands and I'm so glad I did. I picked up goodies for PBF and SIOH and then took back a pair of jeans for DS and while there found a shirt for him and then went to Hollister and the jacket he wants was on sale so now I've got him another birthday present!!!!! The boy definitely lives in the wrong state. He loves winter clothes, especially jackets and coats. He must have a dozen jackets and we live in Florida!!:rotfl:

I also found the most wonderful cake for DS's birthday. He told me to surprise him on the cake so I decided to check out the bakery at our favorite grocery store before making one for him. I found a Strawberry Peach Explosion cake that looks so awesome. It's yellow cake inside with strawberry and peach pieces mixed in the icing inbetween the layers. Then, it's iced on the sides and covered with almonds and on top it's covered in strawberries, peaches and kiwi. He will  it. It's the pefect cake for him. The gal said she'd just put it out too!

Now, to clean the house since grandmothers and grandfather, and aunt are coming tomorrow to celebrate DS's birthday. I can't believe my baby is going to be 17 tomorrow!!!!

Happy Saturday all!

I'm not sure what got into my boys, but they were both up before 7:00 a.m. On Saturday. DH went to an all-day photography workshop two hours away, and the boys left a little while ago to go Christmas (window) shopping with MIL. Between the two boys, I have ONE item in a Christmas list for each. One. The little one just wants "cars"--as in matchbox cars. The older one asked for one Bakugan thing, and that's it. I've never seen anything like it, they don't want anything!

I'm well into the housework part of the list today:
made bed
put away laundry from the last couple of days
clean upstairs bathroom
Start more laundry
Unload/reload dishwasher

I'm hoping to scrap since I have the house to myself, but I'm really tempted to take a nap! We'll see....

Steph, are your boys into Bakugan? bubba got a special attack thingy guy for halloween that he has no clue at to what it is?? he's never even heard of it before.

Stephanie, i can not believe that it's your ds's birthday either. i remember last year you made him all the cars pieces for the cricut for his decorations. boy how 1 year really flys by.

deb-have a blast tonight! you deserve it!

i have a zillion things to do today and i'm slowly crossing them off my list. very slowly. bubba got a hair cut and looks adorable! -if i do say so myself!-
he is going to get a gymnastics belt loop for scouts this afternoon. and i NEED to find him an outfit for tomorrows christmas pictures!

and DIT i did not get that punch for Brooke so thank you for picking it up for her! You Rock!

Hi everyone!! DS's rash was AWFUL this am, but seems to be slowly getting better. . .or maybe the bumps are just connecting?? He's been a trooper, though!

Holly & DIT--thanks for being my shoppers!!!

I am so stressed with getting everything ready for Christmas, and Buffy, I'm like you. . .I seem to be the only one worried about the house being cleaned and all of that stuff! Oh well. . .maybe I'll just go take a nap!

Here's my list for today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Go to mom's to work on her computer
4. Stop at Kroger for tonight's dinner
5. Scrap?
6. Order some pics for P365
7. LAUNDRY!!!!!!!!
8. DH--change out cat litter!
9. Try to get some rest!

I hope everyone's Saturday is a great one! Have fun at whatever you choose to do--and DIT, that cake sounds TERRIFIC!!

Holly, my oldest likes Bakugan. He has several of the little ball-looking figures, and the magnetic cards they came with. I looked at the special attack thing on TRU website, DS doesn't have one, but I can ask him what it's supposed to do, and let you know.

I don't know much about it at all, the thing that he wants is a 7-in-1 Maxus something. I don't really know what it does either, but it must be fairly popular; it was sold out at TRU online, WM online, and WM in the store. My mom found one yesterday and grabbed it for me!

Add to my list:

Upload LO's that I've done lately to photobucket

Back from the baby shower! Holy smokes, what a load of gifts that kid got! She's going to be the best dressed baby in town for a while! And shoes, OMG, my sister must have given her 20 pairs of shoes! This is the sister who has "emergency red shoes" in her car. Not surprising!

Princess got her hair "trimmed" this morning. We cut some wispy bangs into it, hoping it will help with the bed head a bit. LOL :)

It's rainy and dreary here, glad to be home and out of the weather!

Hope everyone's having a great Saturday!

I just don't have the red ones for in case of emergency...

I have blankets, jumper cables, water, and granola bars...I'm such a loser!! Going to get a red pair of shoes to add to the emergency box...and when DH asks, I'm saying they're for "in case of emergency" too :rotfl2:

i too need a pair of red shoes for emergency!

deb you said you had granola bars in your emergency kit? well i can't have food in mine. because a)the mice will eat it! or b) i'll eat it!!!!!!

we drive to New Hampshire for the weekend and I take a weeks worth of food with me and i have it all eaten before we get on the highway!! dh ALWAYS says he would hate to be stranded on a deserted island with me because i would eat all of our provisions in the 1st 5 minutes!:rotfl:
whenever we are packing the car he'll say-honey why don't you put the food in the truck for safe keeping. which really means- keep it away from me!
i can't help it. i'm a bored eater!

"Bored eater"--that is SO me!!! I'm that way with snacks and stuff in the car. I don't have to be hungry. . .if it's there, I'll eat it! DH knows to buy stuff that he already knows I don't like so that I don't try to steal it!!

Deb--so glad you now know to put red shoes in your car! Now you are truly prepared!! :thumbsup2;)

DIT--THANK YOU for getting my punch today!! PM me how much I owe you!!

Hmm...I've done Captain Mickey with a ship's wheel for last year's cruise swap, and I did Helmsman Mickey with a ship's wheel for this year's cruise swap. But they weren't modified from the Cricut cart, they were from coloring pages. But someone else made one, I think too, but I don't remember which swap or who. Do you have a pic?

Today...more white !@#$. BUT...apartment keys have been turned in!!!! :woohoo: No more having to get up early to drive to one place or the other. Still a lot of unpacking here at the house, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Admire bathroom that DH finished painting. Decided with the primer and two coats of paint the color is exactly what I wanted. Now to find towels to coordinate.

 Bored eater here too. I totally cruise the counter tops when I'm home alone. Can't read a book without something to snack on. Can't read the computer without something to snack on. :lmao: I gained back that weight I lost for 2008. :sad2: Doesn't look like it is going away anytime soon either.

Don't forget to put an empty coffee can, candle and matches in your emergency stash. Its good for heat and light if you are stranded. You can also melt snow for water if needed.
