Sorry- search is disabled so I can't access that.

We have been offered the chance to stay at this hotel for free next fall for 4 nights. I am having trouble finding out any information about this hotel anywhere. All of the information I find on-line seems to have pictures of some "standard" Ramada hotel and is not the actual hotel itself. I heard they also have Kids Club rooms and would love info on this- price, etc. Has anyone stayed here lately, and have any opinions on it? I'm just very wary of agreeing to stay somewhere when I seem to have trouble access info about it. Thanks in advance.

Mega,

When I hear the words "free" and "Ramada Plaza Hotel," a tiny voice begins going "danger, Will Robinson." I researched this place heavily when considering a "free" stay and found that the rating on the hotel, from people who have stayed there, is that it's a glorified 2*. More important, the Ramada Plaza Resorts people just aren't much fun to deal with. Note: this is opinion based on research, rather than personal experience. But if you go to a search engine and search "Ramada Plaza Resorts," you'll find a lot of law suits and unhappy customers. And generally speaking, there's no such thing as "free." You're probably exchanging a place to sleep for 18 hours a day of timeshare and repeat business harrassment. Again, this isn't from experience, but research when I received a simliar offer, I'll be glad to share what I've learned. Suggest going to this link:

the Ramada chain in general is a bit of a bottom-feeding chain. I would, therefore, be extremely wary of one of the chain's lower rated performers.
