Look at a flat spot of dirt. That's all it is so far. When it's finished it will be a small Butler building. That's it ....

That space is actually going to be the service area for the monorail-type transportation system that will serve the theme parks by the year 2008.

Chris, I don't know if you're not on a diet or not, but don't eat everything you're fed.

HF.com - Last I heard it's 1500. It's HHN storage off season and a house during. HHN is paying to put it up. Very plain Jane metal building.

"It's HHN storage off season and a house during. HHN is paying to put it up.
Is HHN a separate entity than Universal or does just refer to the HHN Budget paying for the building?

USF has only once used an outside source for there Halloween event.... it was the first Halloween event back in 1990 at that time it was called "Fright Nights" then the next year USF ran it and it has been called "Halloween Horror Nights" ever since.

in other worlds HHN and USF are one and the same.

What I meant by ownership was it was coming out their budget. It's all one company. Just like any other, one department is not going to pay for a building for another department to use. The phrase is " it's not in my budget " :D

I was completely kidding about the monorail thing, Earl.

Now this is funny considering-

A)Fright Nights was in 1991, not 1990. Universal didn't have a Halloween event in 1990.

B)It was run by Universal then and now.

sorry about missing that by one year..... and yes they did have an outside contractor do there halloween event that year.... but USF has done it all since then....

Really? And what was this outside contractor doing? It's been Universal the whole time.

The contractor booked the talent, and ran the event. Universal ran their rides and shows, but none of the "haunts" were Universal employees.

to back up what Wolf said, AEO Studios - Theatrical Make-up/Effects/Design is who was contracted to do the event in '91

And to blow what Wolf said out of the water-

Wolf said...The contractor booked the talent, and ran the event. Universal ran their rides and shows, but none of the "haunts" were Universal employees.

Funny, cause I was a "haunt", several of my coworkers were "haunts" and....we still work there today.

Sorry, but now i will have to blow you out of the water ... for someone that claims to have worked at a "Haunted Attraction" the term "haunt" stands for the "haunted attraction" itself or the "haunted mazes" with in the attraction .... i have no proof if you work there or not.... these are just the facts for "fright nights" in '91

The fine line between facts and the truth.

The truth is what I know.

.

The way you worded it, you were using the term "haunt" to refer to a person. If you were using the term to refer to the location, you should have said "None of the 'haunts' were occupied/staffed/ran by Universal employees".

Notatourist was indeed a scareactor and did work the event.
