which hotel would you recommend for Xmas at Disneyland?

We plan to visit Disneyland around Xmas for 3-4 days with 2 young children (1 & 4). For the veterans out there, where is the best place to stay?

Is it worth it to stay on-site? If so, which one is your favorite?

As far as decorations are concerned, BWV and WLV are wonderful. OKW is nice and it’s proximity to the Marketplace also makes it a favorite. The GF and Poly are very nice and IMHO the Contemp with it’s contemp decorations is worth a visit. It is worth staying on site, you can and should visit other resorts to see their decorations and at OKW or BWV (and probably more), Santa leaves you a Mickey Mouse stocking on your door.

For Disneyland hotels, I would recommend visiting the Disneyland boards here on the DIS. There are quite a few Disneyland regulars there who should be able to give you some good info.
