Well as promised this is the start of the questioning. All being well we hope to visit the 'Sunshine State' in May or June 2003. Have decided to put a package together myself rather than through an agent.

(1) Has anyone had any experience of 'Hotel Kingdom.com' ?Looking at their website they seem to have an extensive range of accomodation at reasonable rates.

(2) Accommodation at 'Homewood Suites on Palm Parkway LBV' (recently built I think) looks to be a starter for the moment. Rates at present are £71pn ($110) for a one bedroom suite. Sleeps a max of six.

(3) Flights not to sure yet! Direct or Indirect? Obviously cost is a factor, but having flown Direct on previous occasions this looks like the option to go for.

(4) Car Hire / Insurance   where do you start? Me heads buzzing!!!! Pleased I've best part of a year to try and sort it out.

Thanks in advance

The only item I have experience with is hotelkingdom.com I booked with them for the Vistana Resort in October 2002 and got an amazing rate. The people were very friendly and very quick turnaround time.
Hope you have a great trip!

I've used hotelkingdom too - yes, they can have some very good rates! I had no problems using them whatsoever. One thing to remember though...the prices don't include tax (or atleast they didn't a couple of years ago when I used them), so you'll need to add that on to the cost.

You might want to look at the Sierra Suites as well. My friend just got back from there and said they were superb.

http://www.sierrasuites.com/

they do a long term rate which is around $69/night

I can't get a quote from their system for next May though

Flights, direct or indirect?

We got a very good price from KLM, so flew via Amsterdam - it depends where you live, but you can fly from all the regional airports to Amsterdam so it's a good option if you are not near London or Manchester. We didn't find the transfer a problem at all.
