Buying groceries before you check in question

I've posted this on the resorts board, but not much luck. I figured I'd find more people here that got groceries on their way "home" who might know the answer.

We'll be checking in on a Sunday and will be stopping by a grocery store before we check in. First, I was wondering if they sell beer and wine at grocery stores in Orlando. Second, if they do, do they sell it on Sundays? Anyone know?

I know the question may sound crazy to some, but where I'm from, you can't buy beer until after 12pm on Sundays and grocery stores can only sell beer, no wine.

I can answer the first part of your question. Yes, they do sell beer and wine at Florida's grocery stores. As for Sunday . . . I don't know. We've always checked in on Saturday.

Yeah, they sell beer and wine on Sunday (you may have to wait until the afternoon, I'm not sure).

Thanks! Anyone know if they can sell alcohol before noon? We'd like to be checked in before then even though we won't be able to get in a room til later.

I know this because we were just in WDW a couple of weeks ago.
Publix doesn't sell beer until noon, I think, but right across the way is a Walgreen's and they sell beer and wine at 9:00 on Sunday mornings.
