? about Banked Points

We have 200 Banked Points that have to be used by 6/03 and 179 Points within this use year. The 179 Points have to be Banked by November if we are not going to use them. Question is this, if we decide to take a trip in Jan/Feb do we need to specify that we want to use the 200 points that are already Banked or will Member Services automatically pull from the Banked Points first then current Points?

MS should use the banked points first. But, when making the reservation, I would confirm that is what they are doing. If you book by phone, ask. If you book by e-mail or fax, include a line in your message...."using the banked points".

MS will usually pull the banked points first, but I always specify which points to use and ask them to provide an e-mail "recap" of remaining points banked / current.
