So in 2011 it would be the 7th thru the 9th?

Has been so far, so I would say its a safe bet.

It might be the second non-holiday weekend pushing it back a week next year. I believe they have it when they have it to get the crowds up at a time of year that is normally slow. Since the holidays do usually extend past the first I would guess that next year it will be the 3rd weekend instead of the second.

This is only a guess.

2006 and 2007 it was Jan 6 and 7. I think it is supposed to be 7 through 9 in 2011.

In 2011, I plan on starting on my b-day (1/4) and staying the whole weekend.

NO Its the first Sunday AFTER the first Monday of the year. The one exception has been 2002 when a scheduling conflict was on the next weekend. That year it was on Jan 6.

A safe bet is Jan 8 & 9 in 2011.
