Does anyone know if they have hairdryers in the rooms at All Star Movies or if you can get one upon request.

They don't have them in the rooms. I'm not sure if you can get one from housekeeping or not.

No hairdryers, not even on request.

That's pretty surprising, considering that even the cheapest motels have hairdryers these days. Well, people (including me) will stay there anyway, because it's Disney.

Oh well. At least I got an answer. Thanks everyone.

The other 2 places we're staying on this trip have them so I was hoping that I wouldn't have to bring one. That's valuable souvenir space in my luggage after all. :D

I have always gotten a hair dryer from housekeeping when I have stayed at any of the Disney value or moderate resorts!

Called for a hairdryer shortly after checking in around 3:00.

Housekeeping brought one in.......I'm not kidding.....about 2 minutes.

Last year we had no problem getting a hair dryer at All-Star. You may have to do a deposit to secure one one but it's refundable with the return of the dryer.

We asked at the desk as we checked in on our Sept AllStar trip..she handed me one. In Jan, she said it would be in our room when we returned (room wasn't ready) and it was. At POR we had to wait a little while, but it too was delivered. I never drag a hair blower to Disney.

We were at ASMu just a few weeks ago and requested a hairdryer. It was delivered shortly after we requested it.

I don't know about anyone else but I have thick hair and those hairdryers do diddly squat for me as far as drying my hair the way I like it dried. it is just as easy to bring my own. When I was down last month i didn't have a choice to use it after the first 3 days of being there my hairdryer broke, ARGH, I was devistated.:)

I'm so glad to hear they do have hair dryers! I have very fine hair & any one works for me. I usually don't bother with it anyway, because the humidity makes me curl. I can just gel & go :)
