new member,still confused about banking (sorry)

we had to bank our points by the end of this month, March. We bought 200 and banked 70, the remainder to be used this September. I'm confused again on the date that the banked points need to be used by. Also do the points actually have to be used or just reserved? We are planning another trip in October-November of 2002. Our use year is October.

If your Use Year is October you get new points every October. You have banked points from October 2000 into your October 2001 Use Year. They must be used (not just reserved) between October 1, 2001 and September 30, 2002. They will expire at the end of September if they have not been used.

Hi! The 70 points need to be used between Oct 1, 2001 and September 30, 2002. Banked (or borrowed) points always have to be used in the year they are moved to. As far as reservations go, the points used for the reservation need to be available when you are taking the trip- not when you are making the ressie.
