Can I waitlist if I am renting points? Should I?

I missed out on a great deal to stay at the BWV, by about a day. :( If I rented points, I'd be able to stay at the BWV for the same amount of money as I'd pay for PO-R!!
So, I was wondering -- if I'm not a member of the DVC, can I waitlist at BWV and/or BCV for a studio or 1 BR? I would have to borrow points from someone. Who would I call to do so--CRO? Has anyone else done this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

You would have to arrange with a DVC owner to place you on a wait list. Any DVC owner can check availability. Central Reservations has a different pool of rooms than are available through DVC, but a member needs to call and check.

Check the rent/trade board and post what you need. Maybe someone can help you.
