We are planning to spend Thanksgiving - Christmas at Walt Disney World. Any suggestions of places to stay that has weekly rental rates? Thanks, Jay

Are you really staying from Thanksgiving to Christmas? I have no advice for you but I just wanted to say "Good for you!" What an amazing stretch of time to be there. Can't wait for that trip report.

All the Disney resorts just have nightly room rates, nothing for weekly rentals. My only suggestion for a weekly rental would be to head over to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board. :)
Hope you have a great time! ;)

I think you can get a room for a month at Disney. If you are referring to an off site Condo or Home, go to the home page and I think they have a link that will take you to FL home rentals.

Try Emerald Island Resort, we stayed there recently and really enjoyed it. It is west of Disney on 192 new and very close to the attractions.
Good luck with your planning.

Hi....weekly and nightly rates are done with condos and homes....nightly rates go with the motels.....Emerald Island is one of the new developements just south of Disney, and it is spectacular....very nice condos and homes....the homes and condos are owned by individuals and leased by many different companies or direct from the owners....there are also 50 plus other housing developements in the 25 mile radius around Disney.....vrbo. is owners direct...a company like familiesfirst.com, elitehomes, villa direct, and many others arrange and book rentals as a company....there are many of those also..shop around...a condo or home is really the best way for a family to spread out and relax at Disney...good luck...Ted
