Weather Early March

Hi everyone,
does anyone know what the weathers like typically in early march? was just wondering do we need to bring the thermals :)

We've had several early/mid March trips.
1st one was bitterly cold with snow (2004)
2nd one was cold but dry and sunny (2006)
3rd one was beautiful, sun shone every day and we walked around in light jackets, very often the kids just had hoodys on (2009)

In 2007 we went right at the end of March and it was cold, wet with slightly sleety rain

So go prepared for the worse but hopefully you'll get lucky. :)

I went in March this year and it was very pleasant: warm enough to not wear a coat and really sunny.

It can vary though, as Jill said, so you do need to prepare for all eventualities.
