We were at WDW last week (Nov 2 through 8). On Nov 3 in the MK the Halloween/Fall decorations were still up. When we returned to MK on Nov 7 Christmas decorations were up and Christmas music was being piped in. (We were at DHS on Nov 6 and their Christmas stuff was up as well including the big tree out front.)

Here are some photos from MK showing the different sets of decorations.

Wow, we will be there in 22 days to see the Christmas decorations. We are very excited to see them (first time at Disney during the Holiday Season). Thanks for sharing the pictures, how lucky that you were able to see both sets of decorations. Was the castle lit up as well?

The castle was not lit up with the Christmas lights while we were there (even though you could tell they were hung on the castle). My understanding is that starts with the first MVMCP, which is Nov 10th.
