Parking at BLT??

We have a trip coming up over Thanksgiving week, and I am wondering what to do about parking at BLT now that valet is not free anymore. We definitely don't mind self-parking, but I seem to recall that self-parking used to be quite difficult/crowded at the Contemporary. What is the self-parking situation for BLT? Is it pretty hard to find a spot? How far is the lot?

If you have a MKV, you can also keep an eye on your car at the same time ;) . The parking lot is right in front of the BLT--very convenient. :thumbsup2

Besides the self parking lot in front of Bay Lake Tower there is also another self parking lot in front of the Contemporary that faces the Magic Kingdom View rooms, so if one lot was full you always have another location to park at.

When we checked in the other day, we parked in a lot of about 20 spaces directly in front of the building. If you are looking at BLT from road, its toward the right. These were a little closer than the rest of the parking, but then again, its all pretty convenient..

I noticed at BLT there is ample parking so you should not have a problem finding a spot. The lot is right in front of the building so it's very convenient. I find BWV to have the least convinient parking. BCV has very convenient parking and so does BLT.

We just returned home yesterday from a stay at BLT. We had 2 cars with us and there was plenty of parking (lot in front of the BLT was less than 1/2 full at its fullest.
